Coober Pedy in South Australia does get its share of rich black opal and this piece is a beautiful example of SA black opal. About Black Opal
Black Opal is a form of opal where the base colour is dark grey to black. This makes the play of colour pop and adds to its value. Black opal is found in all the opal regions of Australia but is most commonly found around the Lightning Ridge opal fields. Red play of colour is very rare and that also makes it the most valuable colour to be found in all varieties of opal.

If you are not satisfied with your item for any reason at all, you can return it within 14 days of receiving your order. If you decide to return the product, please contact us as soon as possible for instructions.
You are responsible for covering the cost of return shipping via the same tracked shipping method as delivery, as well as appropriate insurance at the price you purchased the item(s) at. You will be refunded the cost of the item(s), excluding the delivery and insurance fees.
