This freeform boulder matrix shows soft purple play of colour across the face. Brilliant opal picks out routes through the ironstone body, weaving pattern and colour into one. The matrix body is as much part of the stone's appeal as the opal itself.
The stone weighs 21.48ct and is shaped to 24.35 x 17.14 x 4.03mm. The play-of-colour is gentle and sophisticated, rewarding close looking. Fully natural and untreated — solid opal only, with no enhancements. Mined at Koroit in Queensland, known globally for striking boulder matrix patterns. Mined, cut, and polished in-house by our family operation.

The Boulder Opal from Australia is mostly found in Queensland and the rock is often ironstone and petrified wood. You are responsible for covering the cost of return shipping via the same tracked shipping method as delivery, as well as appropriate insurance at the price you purchased the item(s) at. You will be refunded the cost of the item(s), excluding the delivery and insurance fees.
